The Gurugram section of the Dwarka Expressway is expected to be officially inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in June. However, the start date for the project has not yet been determined. The Dwarka Expressway is a 23 km long project, worth Rs 9,000 crore, spanning 18.9 kilometres in Gurugram and 10.1 km in Delhi. About 4 kilometres of the project is currently under construction. Of the 23 km, 3.6 km will be covered by the Dwarka Motorway to Palam Airport tunnel.
